  • Implementation of an energy and environmental benchmarking
    system for the organization’s operations
  • Development of Key Performance Indicators to enable
    measurement of progress
  • Communication Plan that shares these initial benchmarking results with the appropriate stakeholders in the organization.

STREAM’s Two-Star Sustainability Certification is achieved by successful completion of the above.

Implement Energy and Environmental Improvement Programs

Phase Three of the STREAM Program begins the implementation of processes and projects within the organization to drive operational efficiencies while reducing their energy and environmental footprint.

Sustainable Supply Chain Programs

Phase Four of the STREAM Program will extend an organization’s sustainability initiative to their supply chain to drive additional cost savings, improve resiliency and reduce total environmental footprint.

  • Develop and implement a sustainable supply chain program that
    encourages suppliers to reduce their carbon footprint
  • Provide sustainability education programs for suppliers
